We are still dealing with the paperwork for the trucks.  The rules change daily…  Hopefully, tomorrow, we will find out what is required to be able to get them released.  This is NOT an easy country to help!  Continue to pray for favor!

We now need $88,000 for the mountain property!  If you can help, mark your gift “Land” and, as soon as we have it, we will buy the land and begin setting up tents for temporary housing for our people.  In time, we can build permanent structures.  There is so much to do!  When there is nothing to start with, we must stay focused and take one step at a timePray for wisdom and direction from the Holy Spirit.

Along with the challenges, I must say that each day also gives new opportunity to share the love of Jesus and to see the desire in the hearts of the Haitians to get right with God.  Even before the earthquake, we saw this happening, especially among the youth.  Tonight, at our regular Friday night prayer meeting, six people gave their lives to Jesus and 80 were baptized with the Holy Spirit!  This is an amazing time in Haiti!   As thousands come into God’s kingdom, we have an awesome responsibility to teach and disciple them according to God’s Word.  This begins immediately!

If you would like to receive photos of the New Believers class this week in Carrefour or setting up tents in Leogane, or anything I have shared, drop me a note and, if I have some, I will email them to you.

We’ve only begun with this huge rebuilding process.  We will continue…  We have seen God come through too much already not to trust Him for the next step!  Jesus said, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:52)  We must keep our eye on the goal and move forward
