Update March 20, 2010

Terry and Cinera returned from the DR today.  It was good to have everyone together again, even if for a couple days!  On Monday, JP and I will go back to Orlando and Terry will travel to Martinique with the Mayor for a few days before returning to the States for ministry.

Terry went to the tent to see Baby Ciara, and, as soon as she heard his voice, she perked up and opened her eyes.  She has heard his voice all these months as he has preached and has talked with the mother in the yard.  It was amazing to see!  He picked her up and brought her into the house to see all our visitors who went crazy over her, each one fighting to hold her!  It’s quite a scene when she comes around!  Her big sister, Cachina, age 3, has discovered she really does like her baby sister!  The first day, she was not very happy with all the attention her mom and the baby were receiving.  We will introduce our newest addition to the church tomorrow!

Please continue to pray for strength.  We know this busy season will continue for awhile yet.  It takes a lot of energy to take on the issues we must deal with now in Haiti, as well as work with teams and staff members and still continue to move forward in ministry, which is our first priority.  We are so grateful for your prayers and encouragement and the great teams of medical, construction, and ministry people.  We honestly couldn’t have made it this far without them!

Pray for services tomorrow that God would be glorified and able to do all He desires in the people who come.  Pray for the miracle service tomorrow night.  Many people are sick now.   It’s especially dangerous because, for many, there is no place to get in from the rain.

At our house, we are all tired after a busy day of work!  We are going to try to get a good night’s sleep to be on top for the 8:00 service.

Thanks so much for standing with us in this new venture to expand the kingdom of God in Haiti.  There are so many decisions to be made throughout every day that we have never had to face before.  This is our day and we must remain alert to the plots of the devil and to the plans of God every minute.  Pray!  Pray!  Pray!
